Traffic and Parking

The traffic on the day of the Festival and Parade will be hectic. Please plan transportation in advance. There will be limited parking spaces in Festival Parking Lots. The area around the Festival is a residential neighborhood, so please be mindful of 'No Parking' signs, street meters, blocking driveways, fire hydrants, and sidewalks.

The City of Austin Hike & Bike Trail System around Lady Bird Lake comes almost directly to the Festival and of course carpooling, ride sharing services and biking are all eco-friendly options.

The Parade is located downtown on Congress and 4th/Bettie Naylor Streets. There are plenty of parking options, but please be mindful of parking signs, street meters, and garage parking fees.
